According to the text "Enfoques de Ensenanza" analized in class, find 2 benefits and 2 disadvantages for each approach, in your opinion. Justify your answer.
Jim Barnes Approach: Benefits: a- Deploy autonomy b- Boosts inner development Because, they are constantly doing and redoing things in order to learn from mistakes and accept weaknesses in order to improve learning. Disadvantages: a- Drilling or repetitive (or extensive) work can provoke lack of interest or monotony. b- If drilling applied and the student couldn’t improve, may cause depression or incentivise skip classes. If classes are reiterative, the main goal may be forgotten, and students may thing do the same thing over and over is pointless.
Nancy Kwong Approach: Benefits: a- Innovates inside classroom b- Let students choose what is going to be shown, in order to pick something really useful for life. If students pick the books are going to be used, they will be really interested in read and actually use them, and so, the tools (books) are going to be used properly and wisely. Disadvantages: a- Loses the teacher status going at same level than students. b- May have difficulties with the management of the class. (student’s behaviour) If a teacher loses the hierarchy inside classrooms, it may end really badly for all the actors involved.
Roberto Umbras Approach: Benefits: a- Boost student’s critical thinking and statements defence/supporting b- And also motivates inner development Disadvantages: a- Sometimes can be hard recall a huge amount of information b- Sometimes is difficult make students criticise things.
In order were... Executive, Therapist & liberator approach, being the last one the more difficult to boost.

1st disadvantage: He doesn't teach them to be persons. 2nd disadvantage: He doesn't motivate them to understand deeply but to memorize.
Justification: there is lack of depth in his teaching.

1st benefit: She teaches them to identify as individuals 2nd benefit: She teaches them how to make their feeling flow through a canal as Literature is.
Justification: it is necessary for the students to feel individuals in this society.
1st.disadvantage: There is no prefixed curriculum. 2nd.disadvantage: There are no limits to develop their individuality.
Justification: If they don't have a prefixed curriculum they do whatever they want and they are not going to learn what they have to.

Justification: It is good for them to learn how to learn how to give their own opinions from the beginning and to put into practice before finishing their school studies.

Justification: It is necessary for the students to learn how to give affection through what they do or say to create a good social environment.
